The Denver Nuggets have made sweeping changes to their G League affiliate, announcing a major leadership restructure for the Grand Rapids Gold.
Longtime assistant Ryan Bowen has been named the team’s new head coach, bringing 17 years of experience within the Nuggets organization.
Bowen spent the last 10 seasons on Denver’s bench and previously played five years with the franchise during a 10-year NBA career.
He replaces the outgoing head coach Andre Miller as the Gold look to reset ahead of the 2025-26 G League season.
Joining Bowen in the revamped front office is Chad Iske, who has been appointed General Manager of the Gold while also being named Vice President of Pro Personnel for the Nuggets.
Iske, a Denver native, returns to an expanded role after working with several NBA teams, including the 76ers, Kings, Wizards, and Hornets.
Nihal Kolur has been promoted to Assistant General Manager of the Gold and will also serve as Director of Strategy with the Nuggets.
Kolur joined Denver in 2022, bringing a background in basketball operations and analytical roles with the NBA league office and Major League Soccer.
Matthew Tynes rounds out the leadership group as Director of G League Operations and Scouting.
Tynes worked with both the Nuggets and Gold in operations and scouting capacities last season after stints with Harvard and the Boston Celtics.
