“Control what I can control and trust myself — probably the biggest things. I think this whole season I didn’t try to think about too much of the outside factors whether that was trade talk, coaching staff, minutes — I just tried to be the best version of Ryan Dunn as I can be: be OK with failure. I think mentally that’s the biggest thing I’ve been working on: really tapping into that mental health aspect of just trusting the process, honing in on the process, not worrying about the results of anything, being a good teammate, being a good person on and off the floor, giving back to the community here, having a smile on my face every time I walk into the facility and walk into a game and interact with the fans and give them that experience is something I always try to do.”
