Anthony Joshua has Jake Paul’s backing amid Tyson Fury‘s warning that AJ might withdraw from their upcoming fight.

Fury vs. Joshua is set to take place on the 11th of December, 2026, at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium. Despite the fight getting booked several years later than it should have, the heavyweights’ star power remains the same.

However, an ongoing dispute between UFC President Dana White and Eddie Hearn continues to cast doubts over the fight happening, and Fury seemingly is a firm believer of the same.

The feud stems from Hearn not wanting White to be involved in the promotion of the fight, which in turn arises from the two promoters beefing since the UFC head honcho’s Zuffa Boxing held its first event in early 2026.

With Fury lashing out at ‘cowards’ Joshua and Hearn, Jake Paul has backed AJ via a tweet, writing:

If I sign up for a big budget movie and make it clear I don’t want to work with a specific producer, like say a Harvey Weinstein, you can’t after the fact just try and coerce me into working with him. That’s basically the situation Anthony Joshua is in. He’s ready to make the movie on the terms he signed up for.

Like Hearn, Paul too has viewed White as his rival. In fact, the two have never gotten along, unlike Hearn, who once had a cordial relationship with White. ‘The Problem Child’ even recently launched MVP MMA (PFL merger) to rival the UFC.
