Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayAfter concluding last season with PAOK, Alex Antetokounmpo has made a high-profile move to cross-town rival Aris BC, signing a two-year contract with the Thessaloniki-based club.
The 24-year-old forward shared his excitement on the official Aris website, stating, “I am very excited to be joining a team like Aris, and I feel extremely blessed to be a part of such a high-level organization.”
The signing also comes amid significant changes in the club’s ownership structure. The RHC Group, an investment fund led by Richard Hsiao – who happens to be a close friend of NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and his family – recently took over the reins at Aris BC.
The move has injected renewed optimism into the organization, signaling a commitment to both competitive success and long-term growth.
Historically, Aris BC was a dominant force in Greek basketball during the 1980s, cementing its status as one of the country’s most popular and storied teams.
With participation in the BKT EuroCup on the horizon and new ownership at the helm, the club is now looking to reclaim its prominence in Greek and European basketball.
