Since the point system is based on a player’s performance, ESPN aims to analyze performances, injuries, and key trends throughout the week to help inform game-winning strategies. This is similar to being a real manager who has the responsibility to improve their roster.

It is a long-term game and strategy, as the winner will be until the end of the season.

A player can only play on platforms like ESPN, Yahoo, or Fantrax for free leagues, while Fantrax Treasurer or private fantasy apps are used for cash leagues.
