MMA veteran Patricio Pitbull wants to really prove himself when he returns to the cage against Choi Doo-ho this weekend.
It’s safe to say that Patricio Pitbull has had an uneven start to life in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. While everyone knows that he is a Bellator legend, and a superstar in the mixed martial arts world, he made the move over at a later stage in his career.
Still, while he may not be in his prime, Patricio Pitbull clearly still feels like he’s got a lot of gas left in the tank, and he wants to prove that against Choi Doo-ho at UFC 331.
In a recent interview, Patricio Pitbull made it crystal clear that he is ready to go out there and put on a show.
Patricio Pitbull is ready for UFC 331
“I liked it,” Freire told MMA Junkie and other reporters when asked about Choi Doo-ho calling him out. “It’s always good when the fighters are remembering your name and have your name in mind. I think his opponent was going to say the same thing. I was missing it. In that division, everyone is quiet. I like challengers.”
When discussing his recent performances in the UFC, he had the following to say.
“I didn’t like any of them,” Freire said. “I don’t think I showed my potential at all in any of those fights. But I do want to bring that out in this performance.”
“(That surprise bonus) sounds good,” Freire laughed. “I think it’s a good deal. Me against ‘Korean Superboy’ is going to be fireworks, I believe. We’re going to win that.”
