The New York Knicks are exploring veteran depth for their frontcourt.
According to Stefan Bondy of the New York Post, the team has invited Trey Jemison and Alex Len to workouts as they continue shaping the roster under new head coach Mike Brown.
Jemison, 25, spent last season between New Orleans and the Los Angeles Lakers on two-way contracts. He appeared in 38 combined games, averaging 2.6 points and 2.8 rebounds while shooting 61.9 percent from the field with the Lakers.
A 6-foot-10 center, Jemison previously played for Memphis in 2023–24, where he logged 23 starts and posted 7.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game. His rim protection and mobility could make him a candidate for a reserve role in New York.
Len, 32, brings more than a decade of NBA experience. The 7-foot big man split last season between Sacramento, Washington, and the Lakers, appearing in 46 total games.
He holds career averages of 6.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks across 690 appearances. Len’s most productive season came in 2018–19 with Atlanta, when he averaged 11.1 points and 5.5 boards while shooting 36.3 percent from three-point range.
New York’s frontcourt rotation is anchored by Karl-Anthony Towns and Mitchell Robinson, with Ariel Hukporti sidelined by injury. The Knicks also feature Guerschon Yabusele and rookie Mohamed Diawara in depth roles.
