Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwaySince the Jnice Black Panther 1 has got some very positive hype online I wonder if someone yet has experience with the new or upcoming version 2? I play the version 1 in 4U quite a lot and have multiple rackets of it in my bag. Sadly, after all this years the amount is decreasing, friends buying them or clashing/break them. At my place there will be no possibility to test version 2. However, on paper they seem to be pretty similar spec wise. Can anyone please give some thoughts?
I just tested the Black Panther 2. I also have the first one. Both are at 4U with Zymax 62 at 26 lbs.
I also use a kimony grip and apply CK YEW's protection tape at the 10-2 oclock areas. (this does affect the balance point a bit). Dry weight was at 82.5 grams, my dry weight of my BP LTD was 83 grams.
After about 10 games ( Just note I am super sensitive to racquet head weight), this is faster and feels lighter than the previous gen. The head is also slightly heavier. Drops need timing adjusted as racquet moves faster. Clears and smashes are effortless. Net play like the previous panther could use some work as it is so fast. This is definable a v2 of the panther. Sharper faster and bit more power. The big negative is if you get used to playing with this, you will have a hard time going back to other racquets as they will feel slugglish.
after 2 hours of play with it and lots of smashes, my arm did get more tired than playing with the V1. Backhand clears were also much better (becareful going out of court). I did find the smashes 15% faster (purely subjective) and a couple of degrees steeper (even more subjective). I organized a group buy in the past for my friends and they also tried the racquet, all were impressed and signed up to get the V2.
