Here is a table with which you can calculate it:
Just enter the weight of the reel in grams in the green column.

If you have other values of empty and full reels of other brands and types, just add them at the bottom.

Awesome Idea! But this let me think about paying 100€ for 150gram plastic

Money press machine
I just take a sharpie and make a tick mark on the outside reel casing every time I need to use it to string up a racket.
I love so much the idea and its simplicity that I wrote a simple html form to use it online (stringer-tool.surge.sh). Icing on the cake: with iOS you can add a bookmark on your home screen and its acts as an app. Thank you Alex82!
Does anyone have a LN1 reel to weight?
Weighted a 500m reel of BG65 :
Full : 300g
Empty : 58g
FYI:
Weighed a 220m reel of Gosen G-Tone 5
Full: 131.1g
Empty: ?
200m reel Gosen G-Tone 5
Full: ?
Empty: 44.2g

This is what I do too!
Determining by weight is actually so smart!
Zymax 69 F (full reel) added!
VBS-70: full reel is 147 g
Kawasaki KSB-68: Empty reel = 52 g
Added some reels to the spread sheet. I found it really odd my brand new reel of Zymax 64TX is only 105g which seems very low.
