i see india has lots of TH fans too Now do u appreciate that media do cause distraction huh?
Actually, perhaps most of the IND badminton fas are still living in era when badminton equalled Indonesia... The INA players are much popular and known then most Chinese players....
Even I always cheer for them (provided they are not playing against Indians , Peter Gade or Misha Zilbermann)....
New Era for India Badminton...

Badminton - The year that was
By Faisal Siddiqui
It was a mixed year for Indian badminton.
While Saina hogged lot of media spotlight,
the mixed doubles team of Jwala-Diju wasn’t far behind
A good run at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, better coaching and big events boosted the Indian badminton scenario this season. Early exits in China and Hong Kong Super Series, All-England and the Asian Championships may have been the low points, but Indian players did make their mark at several international tournaments.

Let's hope that India can catch up with England at this coming Commonwealth Games
.
After having followed the Commonwealth Games for so many year, it has been the same all these time (over the last quarter of a century):
Level 1: Malaysia (top nation)
Level 2: England
Level 3: India and Singapore
Level 4: Others
Let's hope that India can catch up with England at this coming 2010 Commonwealth Games.

To win GOLD in the Mens Singles at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, Lee Chong Wei should be the one Kashyap has to beat. For sure Kasyap knows it. Kashyap needs to work very hard to do it.
