According to Sean Highkin of Rose Garden Report, Donovan Clingan and Yang Hansen are expected to handle the majority of the minutes at the center position this season for the Portland Trail Blazers.

Meanwhile, Robert Williams III is viewed as more of an unpredictable element – a wild card whose role could vary depending on circumstances.

Williams, who has only appeared in a total of 26 games over the past two seasons since joining Portland, is reportedly healthy heading into the summer, which is a positive sign for the team.

Despite this, Highkin notes that Williams will likely see limited playing time and probably won’t be utilized during back-to-back game stretches to manage his workload carefully.

Nevertheless, he is expected to contribute at least in a part-time capacity, providing some presence and impact in the paint when he is on the floor.
