Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayDeontay Wilder attempts to begin a comeback journey tonight, facing Tyrrell Anthony Herndon in a 10-round heavyweight main event from Wichita, Kansas.
The show is available for purchase through PPV.com.
The 39-year-old Wilder is 1-4 in his last five bouts and hasn’t won a fight since quickly knocking out Robert Helenius in 2022. He’s coming off of back-to-back losses to Joseph Parker and Zhilei Zhang, and has looked more incapable of actually unleashing his vaunted, powerful right hand.
That said, Wilder (43-4-1, 42 KO) will be the heavy favorite against Herndon (24-5, 15 KO), a 37-year-old club fighter from San Antonio who has been pretty carefully picked as “the opponent.”
The undercard’s best fight figures to be a light heavyweight matchup between Deon Nicholson (21-1, 17 KO) and Devonte Williams (13-1, 6 KO), with Kansas local Nico Hernandez also returning, among other fights.
