Hybrid stringing has been a thing for a while now, as Yonex has developed their own line with Aerobite and Aerobite Boost.

With that in mind, are any of you using hybrid strings? What are your favourite combinations?

Hi this is Satyajit i am new in this group recently i am planning to string my lining uc 2300b racket with gosen G-tone 5 for mains and Kizuna z58 for Cross has any one done this combo. Please share your experience.

Hey! I wanted to try something cool one day. With Aerobite using Aerosonic, I was thinking of maybe going Aerosonic crosses and Exbolt 65 on mains when my strings pop at 27 x 29.

New brand hndrd has hybrid string

BG80 or G-tone 5 paired with Li-Ning No.1

Yes, i did it. I strung at 24x26. The tension sound is good. However, the z58 string get lossen faster as the Gtone 5 string not really able to hold the z58 string.

im using bg80 and aero sonic 26/28. seems pretty good for my skill level

Using spare bits of string, I recently tried BG80-Power with BG 85.
With that combination of repulsion and grip, it felt like I could place the bird anywhere, quickly.
Alas, it broke within a game. Same thing when I tried it again. :-(

Hi i finally did stung my racket. Here is my thought,
1st day. I was not able to controll my shots, they were just flying here there.
2nd day same issue,
Now i have just kept racket as it is. I think allowing strings to just settle little bit. Let's see how it will do after 3 to 4 days string settlement.

I had strung with Aerosonic and um 66 it's feels just like aerobite 1st version not boost.
Then I shifted to KIZUNA z58. With 26x27.5lbs
String was pretty good it last me for almost 4 to 5months.

Currently i don't feel that way, will update after a week's time to see how they hold to each other

Exbolt65 Main with BG65TI cross. It is a really good hybrid, repulsion power and feel is great. Durability is whatever youd expect from exbolt.

Can’t go wrong with bg80p and bg66um
Will try swapping 66um with exbolt65

finally my string broke (hybrid between g-tone 5 mains and Kizuna z58 cross) I feet that this is the best combo for me, I had my 2 rackets strung with same string, normally I string my rackets at 29lbs for mains and cross with 30lbs with prestrech 10% and knot with 15%, now wish to change my combo with following strings please suggest which will be the best combo.
I have following strings
LN1, BG80 POWER, UM66, GOSEN G-TONE 5, KIZUNA Z58, KIZUNA D61, KIZUNA D65.

I comboed Kizuna Z58 and Victor 66N, 24x26, the Z58 cross bit into the main in a week and cut it through in the second week. Overall, not bad although not as good as Aerobite.
