Saw this post on FB group and looks very cheap/effective tool utlising needle threading tool.

Doesn't appear sharp at all and looks to be much quicker in threading through shared holes compared to tooth floss.
A quick google image search got me the source site for the first picture (in link there are 17 pictures with variations of the item and of the wire shape alone for any DIY'ers:

Appears to be a tool used in jewelry or sewing. *Update*: "Needle Threader" (for tufting guns, beading and hair extenstions!)
Can find them in multipacks at Aliexpress for $2-5.

My only concern is durability of the device if a string is pulled hard enough does it break off from the handle.

At least the device is inexpensive and the various forms and uses seem to have different gauges of wire as well as loop length

Looks very promising if it can still fit in there when the shared grommet is already got 2 strings in there.

This was a direct fail on the first trial. The wire just broke off from the base before I was even able to apply any fore to pull the string trough the hole.

I don't know if other comparable tools are more robust in that regards. Overall it would be a nice thing to replace the floss, but it needs to be more robust than the one I had here. And now I have to order a new one for my wife.

I got a few of this metal handle type (amazon) and they:
- work
- slide out of the handle and can't repair that
- the force required is more than it's designed for and will stretch the thin wire. It will not fan out as good afterwards.

Perhaps some others are more resilient. These really seem nice, but designed for lower forces.

I used flossing wires the ones that help thread floss under a bridge wire when doing ortho work. They also don't last, maybe 5-10 pulls before it breaks. Only annoyance is trying to grip the tiny thin end you feed through the hole first.

Haven't used one in a while as I found it way faster to just jab the awl.

If you want a more strong wire, you can use the cutting wires mostly used for phone display removal and somehow tie it or attach it to something more strong then these sewing threaders. That should work as well, I would avoid using too thin cutting wires as we may be cutting the string as well when pulling.

Looks like these 2 time tested approaches are still in the lead for threading a shared hole:
1) rounded awl to increase gap in shared hole for threading string
2) Waxed tooth floss is tied into loop and threaded through the hole. put end of string into loop and yank the string through

Prior to the above cases we would always cut a pointy tip to attempt threading it through first with pliers.

I still prefer my string mover hook. Super fast. I never have strings break there during stringing or when I get them back from the player so it seems safe enough.

You're right that's the 3rd option that I totally neglected to mention (honestly because i don't use this approach) . Definitely quick to do for those that use it obviously.

This was with the Exbolt 65. I'll try to use it with the BG65

definitely worth trying based on cost/time factor.

i see a package of those threaders on amazon for $0.08/piece. even if it only holds up for 1 racket it's worth it for the time/effort saved.
