Although the sun hid behind the clouds for most of GP race day at Matterley Basin, Romain Febvre bounced back from third in moto one to dominate moto two for his fourth 450 Grand Prix victory of the season. Lucas Coenen took second overall with a 2-3 for KTM, while Glenn Coldenhoff scored the first-ever 450 moto win for Fantic. Jeffrey Herlings hot streak cooled down a little with a 4-4, but he moved into sixth in the 450 standings with eight races left in the 2025 450 World Championship.
In the 250 class Simon Laengenfelder worked his way up through the field to go 1-1 in both motos. Liam Everts was second on the Nestaan Husqvarna machine with Sacha Coenen third. Current 250 World Champion Kay DeWolf, who started the season on fire has cooled down considerably and his 7-8 score at Matterley Basin leaves him 70-points behind Laegenfelder in the 250 Championship chase.
Tony Cairoli made an appearance for Ducati in England and finishedin the top ten in both motos,
