The Golden State Warriors have signed Obi Agbim, adding the former Wyoming and Baylor standout to their group ahead of the 2026-27 season, per HoopsHype.

Agbim spent the 2025-26 season at Baylor after beginning his college career at Wyoming. He appeared in 33 games for the Bears, averaging 10.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 33.3 minutes per game.

Agbim shot 37.5% from the field, 35.6% from three-point range and 85.4% from the free-throw line at Baylor. He also averaged 1.1 turnovers and 0.8 steals per game.

His strongest statistical season came at Wyoming in 2024-25. Agbim played 28 games and averaged 17.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 33.2 minutes per game while shooting 46.7% from the field and 43.0% from three-point range.

The 43.0% three-point mark was particularly notable, although his outside shooting dropped to 35.6% during his lone season at Baylor.

Agbim now joins a Warriors roster that has undergone a relatively quiet offseason. Golden State went six straight weeks without adding a new player in free agency while pursuing a potential move for LeBron James and exploring an Anthony Davis trade, with neither move ultimately materializing.

The Warriors did, however, make several additions later in the offseason. They selected Yaxel Lendeborg with the No. 11 pick in the NBA Draft and re-signed Kristaps Porzingis, Draymond Green, Al Horford, De’Anthony Melton, Gary Payton II, Charles Bassey, while adding Georges Niang and Brandon Williams. Dalen Terry and Alex Toohey were also added on non-guaranteed or training camp deals.
