Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayThe Golden State Warriors are unlikely to be able to offer LeBron James the full non-taxpayer midlevel exception at $15.1 million after reaching agreement with Kristaps Porzingis on a two-year, $40 million deal.
The Warriors are $27 million below the first apron and that figure does not include a new contract for Draymond Green.
While teams are allowed to exceed the apron to sign incumbent players, using more than $6.1 million of the exception hard caps them at the first apron.
The possibility of James signing with the Warriors had appeared to gain momentum on Monday as he had yet to meet with the Los Angeles Lakers.
