Tottenham's summer rebuild under Roberto De Zerbi is showing no signs of slowing down, with the north London club continuing to pursue reinforcements across several key areas of the squad.

Multiple reports have indicated that Spurs are actively working on a deal for the Brazilian, who is understood to be keen on the move after another season of inconsistent game time at the Etihad.

Recent reports have suggested Tottenham have reopened talks with City and believe the player is enthusiastic about the prospect of working under De Zerbi.

The 22-year-old remains one of Tottenham's priority attacking targets, with De Zerbi keen to add more pace and creativity in wide areas.

Savinho's ability to play on either flank is viewed as a major attraction as Spurs look to reshape their attack ahead of the new campaign.

Meanwhile, Tottenham's pursuit of Brighton defender Jan Paul van Hecke has gathered significant momentum.

Reports from Thursday morning revealed that Spurs have already had an opening bid rejected by Brighton, with negotiations continuing despite the setback.

David Ornstein's reporting, subsequently echoed by other outlets, suggested Brighton remain determined to secure a fee closer to their £70m valuation of the Dutch international.

Van Hecke has now seemingly emerged as one of De Zerbi's leading defensive targets.

The pair worked together successfully at Brighton, and van Hecke is believed to be keen on a switch to Tottenham.

Personal terms are reportedly progressing, and a transfer could be done before the World Cup starts, according to Dutch journalist Joost Blaauwhof, leaving club-to-club negotiations as the major hurdle.

Now another intriguing transfer story has emerged from Italy.

Tottenham could be offered Jonathan David in a part-exchange deal

According to TuttoJuve, Juventus are exploring a potential route to signing Tottenham duo Guglielmo Vicario and Destiny Udogie as part of a wider strategy to strengthen the Italian core of their squad.

The report claims Jonathan David could become a key figure in any discussions between the two clubs.

The Canada international only joined Juventus last summer after leaving Lille, but TuttoJuve suggests the striker's future could already become intertwined with negotiations involving Spurs.

The report does not claim a formal swap deal has been proposed, but rather presents David as a player who could help facilitate talks if Juventus intensify their pursuit of Vicario and Udogie.

Indeed, they report that the 'world-class' striker could be offered as part of a player-plus-cash deal for the Lilywhites duo.

Both Tottenham players are highly regarded in Turin due to their status as established Italy internationals, fitting Juventus' apparent desire to build around a stronger domestic nucleus.

Udogie is perhaps one of the better Premier League full-backs at his very best, but the ex-Udinese star's career in London has been blighted by injury recently.

Vicario, meanwhile, has been heavily linked with an exit from Tottenham, and Inter Milan are believed to be concrete suitors.

Antonin Kinsky has also enjoyed a mini-renaissance since Igor Tudor's infamous decision to bring him off against Atletico Madrid, so perhaps Vicario leaving for Juve could make sense for all parties.

David's quality is not in question.

The striker has long attracted Premier League interest thanks to his exceptional goalscoring record in France and his ability to operate across the front line.

At just 26, David boasts 154 goals from 361 senior career appearances, not to mention 39 goals across 76 caps for Canada.

For now, the Juventus idea remains at an exploratory stage.

But with Spurs pushing hard for Van Hecke, continuing talks for Savinho, already agreeing to sign Andy Robertson and evaluating opportunities across the market, it is clear this summer is shaping up to be one of the busiest they've had in a while.
