Rising featherweight Tommy McMillen is not a fan of Movsar Evloev.

UFC 333 will be Evloev’s chance to dethrone reigning featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski, who is in his second reign. While Evloev has been undefeated in 20 pro fights, McMillen is not impressed. “Gun” recently spoke to MMAFighting‘s Mike Heck, and he put Evloev on blast for his fighting style.

“If the UFC hit me up and they need a backup for that fight, Volk and whatever the other f*ck, dude – the other dude’s so boring, let’s be real,” McMillen said. “Nobody wants to see him win. F*ck wrestlers, dude. You got to want to go out there and lay on people. I could do that, too. I could have done that in all my last fights.”

McMillen didn’t stop there, as he is rooting for Volkanovski to emerge victorious on Oct. 24. Still, the soaring 145-pounder remains open to a backup role.

“I could go out there and lay on these guys and f*cking be a Khamzat and just do all that,” McMillen continued. “That shit’s boring, bro. No one wants to do that. So let’s hope Volk wins. But like,100 percent, UFC wants to pay me and be like, ‘Yo, Tommy, come be the backup for this fight.’ F*cking send me, bro. I’ll pull up there like a bag of f*cking Cheez-Its and dust any one of them boys, bro.”

For now, “Gun” will need to keep his focus on a scheduled grudge match with Marwan Rahiki on Saturday at Noche UFC 4. The two had an altercation at the fighter hotel in Glendale that involved shoving. The two were separated before things got worse. Oddsmakers have this fight as a close one, and McMillen is the slight favorite.
