“Riding into the wild, sleeping under the stars, and discovering what’s possible on two wheels can be transformative,” said Charlotte Inman, director of Sisters in the Wild UK. “This bursary opens that door for riders who may not otherwise have the gear or support.”

Since 2021, SITW has built a vibrant community through grassroots events, Intro to Bikepacking Weekenders, and its flagship Summer Gathering—plus wilder trips to places like Albania, Bosnia, and Kyrgyzstan. This bursary furthers that mission by removing financial and practical barriers.

Eligible nominees must have a UK address and identify as a woman, non-binary, or other marginalized gender.
