Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayShakur Stevenson stirred debate on X after praising Floyd Mayweather Jr. for looking sharp in recent training clips ahead of his June 27 exhibition against Mike Zambidis in Greece.
“Floyd look sharp in his training videos ain’t no way he 49 ion believe it,” Shakur posted on X.
The reaction underneath the post quickly split between fans defending Mayweather’s conditioning and others mocking both Floyd and Shakur. Some pointed to Mayweather’s age and exhibition opposition, while others turned their attention toward Stevenson’s fighting style and lack of knockouts in recent years.
“Yeah, aight, when you gonna start knocking mfs out like Floyd did when he was the same age as you. Everybody wanna be like money may but don’t wanna put on great fights like he did,” one fan replied.
Another questioned whether Mayweather’s training footage should even be taken seriously because of the level of opponent he is facing.
“Look who he fightin’. Believe it, lol,” another user posted.
Several fans defended Mayweather’s appearance, arguing that years of staying disciplined in the gym have allowed him to maintain his condition well into retirement.
“He never gets out of shape – slows aging right down,” one fan commented.
Others used the moment to call for Stevenson to return to the ring soon, with some mentioning a possible rematch against Edwin De Los Santos and others again demanding a fight against Devin Haney.
Many fans in the replies did not agree with Stevenson’s view that Mayweather looked especially sharp. Critics pointed to Floyd’s recent exhibition appearances, where he appeared slower and far removed from the form he showed in his 2015 win over Manny Pacquiao.
Some also compared him to Pacquiao, who impressed many observers in his 2025 fight against Mario Barrios. Fans arguing in Pacquiao’s favor believe Floyd could have problems if the two ever meet again under serious conditions.
