All eyes turn to T-Mobile Arena for tonight’s WBC welterweight title fight between Ryan Garcia and Conor Benn.

Garcia (25-2) captured the WBC welterweight title this past February with a twelve-round unanimous decision victory over Mario Barrios. That triumph was preceded by a decision loss to Rolando Romero for the then-vacant WBA welterweight title in May of 2025. ‘King Ry‘ has earned knockout / TKO wins in twenty of his twenty-five professional contests.

Meanwhile, Conor Benn (25-1) will enter this evening’s title bout sporting a two-fight winning streak, this after scoring unanimous decision victories over Chris Eubank Jr. and Regis Prograis in his most recent efforts. The English fighter suffered his lone career loss in April of 2025, when he dropped a decision to Chris Eubank Jr. in their first of two encounters.

Tonight’s ‘Garcia vs. Benn’ title bout did not last long. ‘King Ry’ was able to put together some solid left hooks right from the get-go, which ultimately culminated with him dropping Conor Benn thanks to a straight right. The English fighter was able to beat the ten-count; however, he was disposed of quickly thereafter thanks to a barrage of punches from the champion. It was an impressive performance for Garcia who was quick to celebrate the triumph.
