Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayIf you do not know the name Parker Ross yet, you should going forward. Ross debuted as a pro last summer in the final three rounds of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship following his final go at the Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. Ross has been an under-the-radar name in recent years both at the Ranch and in the SMX Next – Supercross program in Monster Energy AMA Supercross.
Ross made his AMA Supercross debut this year with his SLAM LIFE Racing (SLR) Honda team, scoring a top-ten finish, ninth, in Arizona’s Triple Crown for the season best in his seven 250SX main event starts. Then, Ross made the switch from SLR Honda to the Toyota Redlands BarX Yamaha team for Pro Motocross. The #302 has been hovering right around tenth place in a handful of motos (finishing there twice entering RedBud). On Saturday, Ross scored 11-10 finishes for eighth overall, a new career best as he landed in the top ten overall.
Ross is similar to his teammate Dilan Schwartz: humble, gritty, underrated, fast, and super fit. Speaking of Schwartz, the two teammates were battling one another in the second moto, which ended with Schwartz finishing seventh. Unfortunately, Schwartz’s overall results are skewed from an issue and DNF in the first moto (38th officially). This duo is one to keep an eye on moving forward. Could we see one of them land a top-five finish?
Ross posted the following weekend recap on his Instagram:
“My first ever top 10‼️ Redbud was awesome! Felt really good all day on the track and was able to fight my way into the top 10 both motos! Went 11-10 for 8th overall. Still a lot of things that I know I can be better at, but I’m learning and taking steps in the right direction. Can’t thank the whole @barxyamaha team enough for all the hard work!!”
