The Denver Nuggets have officially signed second-round draft pick Trevon Brazile to a standard NBA contract, according to the league’s official transaction log.

The move was widely expected after Nuggets vice president of basketball operations Ben Tenzer indicated following last month’s draft that Brazile would be part of the team’s standard roster.

The 23-year-old is expected to earn the rookie minimum salary of approximately $1.36 million for the 2026-27 season.

Denver acquired Brazile’s draft rights from the San Antonio Spurs by trading down from the No. 26 overall pick to No. 35, while also receiving two future second-round selections as part of the deal.

The 6-foot-10 forward began his college career at Missouri before transferring to Arkansas.

After suffering a torn ACL during the 2022-23 season, he returned to become one of the Razorbacks’ top players, averaging 13.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 1.6 blocks per game as a senior while helping Arkansas reach the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.

Brazile’s contract was finalized before making his Summer League debut for the Nuggets on Friday.
