The Chicago Bulls and guard Norman Powell have agreed to a two-year, $45 million contract. This will use up most of Chicago's remaining cap space.

Powell was a first-time All-Star for the Miami Heat last season. The 33-year-old shooting guard averaged 21.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game. Powell shot 47% from the field, including 38% on three-pointers.

Powell was traded to Miami ahead of last season from the LA Clippers. In addition to the Heat and Clippers, Powell has also played for the Toronto Raptors and Portland Trail Blazers in his 11-year NBA career.
