Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayNewcastle United have made it clear that they don’t see Liverpool being able to meet their demands for Alexander Isak this summer.
As per their official website, Newcastle have made it clear that they never made a clear commitment that Isak could leave the club in this transfer window.
The NUFC statement also suggested they did not foresee any club being able to meet the conditions that could perhaps change their minds about the Sweden international’s future.
“We are disappointed to have been alerted to a social media post by Alexander Isak this evening.
“We are clear in response that Alex remains under contract and that no commitment has ever been made by a club official that Alex can leave Newcastle United this summer.

“We want to keep our best players, but we also understand players have their own wishes and we listen to their views. As explained to Alex and his representatives, we must always take into consideration the best interests of Newcastle United, the team and our supporters in all decisions and we have been clear that the conditions of a sale this summer have not transpired.
“We do not foresee those conditions being met.
“This is a proud football club with proud traditions and we strive to retain our family feel. Alex remains part of our family and will be welcomed back when he is ready to rejoin his teammates.”
Alexander Isak only wants to join Liverpool, says Fabrizio Romano
Fabrizio Romano continues to link Isak strongly with Liverpool, insisting that the 25-year-old only wants a move to Anfield.
See below as he posted this again last night…
??? Alexander Isak makes his move and it was always clear since July: he only wants Liverpool.
He doesn’t even want to discuss any other option with Newcastle, and never considered Al Hilal despite reports.

“Alexander Isak makes his move and it was always clear since July: he only wants Liverpool,” Romano said. “He doesn’t even want to discuss any other option with Newcastle, and never considered Al Hilal despite reports. Liverpool Football Club.”
This follows from Romano telling CaughtOffside about Liverpool’s plan to bid again for Isak as long as they received the green light from Newcastle.
In a sense, their statement last night is daring LFC to come back with a huge offer, though it also covers their backs if they decide not to accept, as they strongly suggest they don’t think there’s anyone out there who’s going to pay the crazy money they’d demand for their star player.
