Former UFC superstar Nate Diaz and Dillon Danis went at it on social media over Danis’ last-minute pullout from Duel Arena 1.

Dillon Danis’ return to Mixed Martial Arts was scratched during fight week for Duel Arena 1. Danis was supposed to fight Bare Knuckle FC and UFC vet Mike Perry in the Duel Arena 1 main event, before withdrawing due to a gruesome arm injury just days before the card.

Danis’ withdrawal was the latest in a series of last-second fight cancellations in recent years. He withdrew from fights against influencer KSI and Anthony Taylor in Misfits Boxing.

After Danis’ latest fight pullout, fans and pundits didn’t let him off the hook. This includes former UFC superstar Nate Diaz, who didn’t waste the opportunity to taunt the polarizing fighter.

In a recent tweet, Diaz appeared to react to Danis’ latest pullout.

“Huge p—- [LAUGHS],” Diaz posted after the news of Danis’ withdrawal broke.

Danis responded with an X-rated rant against the former UFC standout.

“The human punching bag that can talk. You turned down over a million-dollar offers to fight me on multiple occasions, so shut your b—- a– up before I go to Stockton and b—- slap you and your brother you abandoned on the street,” Danis replied to Diaz.

“That’s why security has to keep you two separated. Unloyal c—.”

Diaz and Danis have history. Danis, Conor McGregor’s longtime training partner, has gone back and forth online with Diaz in recent years.

Diaz and Danis nearly came to blows while attending a UFC event at Madison Square Garden in 2024. Both were kicked out of the venue before tensions escalated.

Diaz returned to MMA earlier this year in a loss to Mike Perry at Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano. If both parties are game, a future fight between Danis and Diaz could come to fruition.
