The 'MXGP Podcast Show' returns with reflection on the Grand Prix of Great Britain, round 12 of the 2025 FIM Motocross World Championship. Matterley Basin – a favorite amongst riders more often than not – posed many talking points from track preparation and title chances to whispers from the paddock. All of which are tackled at length in this episode of the show, which returns after a brief hiatus on medical grounds.

Romain Febvre (3-1) pushed his advantage in MXGP to 32 points, thanks to his fourth Grand Prix victory of the year and 10th consecutive podium. Lucas Coenen (2-3) remains in pursuit of the 2015 champion and carried his own streak of podiums to seven. Glenn Coldenhoff (1-5) was a popular discussion points too, thanks to his moto win (the first for Fantic machinery).

MX2 appears to be going the way of Simon Längenfelder, who asserted his dominance via a perfect weekend at the circuit that hosted his first Grand Prix win in 2022. Längenfelder is now 52 points clear of Andrea Adamo in the championship chase and 70 up on defending champion, Kay de Wolf. The win was Längenfelder's third this year.

The 2025 FIM Motocross World Championship continues with the Grand Prix of Finland at the KymiRing on July 12/13.
