Inside Casa Bianchi in Treviglio, Italy

Bianchi just teased two all-new aluminum gravel bikes – the alloy Arcadex & Via Nirone, plus two all-new carbon road bikes – an Infinito RC & a likely Oltre redesign, and a few ebikes as part of a big event hyping a major brand turnaround. On their 140th anniversary, the iconic Italian bike maker has a new CEO, a fresh outlook, and big future plans: An ambitious goal to “reassert its rightful position” as one of the top bike makers in the world, and at the top of competitive pro cycling.

Much of Bianchi’s ambitious plans come from recent groundwork laid by Italian-born Swedish owner & president of Bianchi, Salvatore Grimaldi, who had bought the bike maker back in 1997. Running for just over a year at full steam, Bianchi just built a new modern automated factory for bike assembly at their Treviglio, Italy HQ, and they built in a lot of expansion capacity. Bianchi just brought on new CEO Albert Cavaggioni in March, tasked by Grimaldi to “rebuild the brand with the best racing bikes in the world”.

They have a lot of catch-up after years of relatively slow-moving development in a fast-paced industry. But it looks like they are on the right track.

We got glimpses of new road bikes, new road bikes, new custom bike finishes in the works, a triathlon update to their recent TT bike, several new city ebike and performance eMTBs in the pipeline, and even more redesigns to their headquarters near Milan that will see the addition of a café, flagship retail store, and a museum of their storied history transitioning to its modern assembly in the factory.

A glimpse inside the factory

Their R&D team seems busy, with new bikes coming at all levels to fill out a more complete range for all cyclists. First in the all-new pipeline are a couple of aluminum gravel bikes, then an all-new carbon endurance road bike, and a carbon race bike after that. But the coming soon updates don’t end with new dropbar bikes. There are also new ways to buy bikes, to track them, custom & semi-custom finishes, and even limited edition series bikes like an upcoming Pantani edition Specialissima.

Oh, and from August 1st, all new carbon Bianchi frames come with a lifetime frameset warranty. All new bikes around this time will come with an NFC tag to track the bike, provide details to the buyer, and confirm authenticity down the road.

All-new aluminum Arcadex performance gravel bike

One of the first up in the new bikes department is an all-new aluminum Arcadex gravel bike. This is a direct addition to their popular current carbon all-rounder Arcadex gravel bike.

The new bike will be welded from 6069 alloy, which is said to be significantly stronger than the conventional 6067 aluminum. It features all the latest gravel standards with 50mm max tire clearance, fully integrated internal cable routing, plenty of mounting points for cages, racks & fenders, what appears to be a T47 bottom bracket, and a UDH.

Officially, we’ll get full details in October for a launch later in autumn 2025.

Affordable alloy Via Nirone gravel bike

Alongside the performance-focused Arcadex gravel family, an all-new Via Nirone will bring the entry-level price point down even further. Here you get a lower-cost alloy, and smaller tire clearance around 40-45mm, but still plenty of versatility for all-road and gravel riders.

The new aluminum Nirone still gets full rack & fender mounts, modern integrated cable routing, and plenty of accessory mounts. Plus, it even gets a classic threaded bottom bracket.

We have to wait for more official details for this one in October, as well.

2026 Bianchi Infinito CV carbon endurance race (all)road bike

2026 Bianchi Infinito RC CV all-new carbon performance all-road bike

Probably the real highlight of the upcoming teaser is the all-new Bianchi Infinito, which they refer to as their ‘endurance flagship’. It was the first model in the Bianchi lineup to debut Countervail vibration-damping tech with special viscoelastic CV material incorporated in the carbon layup to damp vibration for rider comfort. Bianchi claims that it “dissipates up to 80% of vibrations from the road, significantly reducing rider fatigue.”

The new Infinito won’t officially launch until next spring, in March 2026. But we got a pretty good look at it to surmise a number of key details. While it is a bike designed for comfort, it has also been Bianchi’s pro race bike for the cobbled Spring Classics. And this new generation still looks to include plenty of aerodynamic optimization to go fast.

The downtube features a unique aero shape that appears to redirect air out of the wide-set fork legs, and the overall frame layout looks similar to many all-rounder road race bikes. But, Bianchi confirms that the all-new endurance bike also gets massive 40mm tire clearance, in addition to updated geometry tweaked for a racy feel with such huge tires. Much of the comfort seems to come from thin, dropped seatstays combined with an aero profile seatpost that is dramatically cut out to isolate vibration just before it makes it to the saddle.

Cable routing is, of course, fully integrated out of sight. There’s a UDH and internal frame storage behind a large door in the downtube. All-roads (and maybe even a little gravel), here we come!

Aquila RC TT bike gets a Triathlon update

2025 Bianchi Aquila Triathlon bike

Technically, the first new bike to be available, which we previewed in the Treviglio factory (where Bianchi assembles their mostly Taiwanese-made frame), is a new Aquila Triathlon bike. It is the same bike as the Aquila RC TT bike that launched back in February. But, it now adds a new aero-shaped storage solution that integrates with the seatpost clamp, plus some new bottle cage mounts in between the aerobar extensions and behind the saddle.

This one will already be available in September 2025.

Bianchi kicks off Cycling Beyond with new special editions

1998 Bianchi Reparto Corse aluminum road bike of Marco Pantani

Looking to reinvigorate their current line-up of top-level bikes, Bianchi is adding a new Officina Edoardo Bianchi line. Essentially a factory premium line for the brand, it will include:

  • Heritage: An in-house workshop that can restore classic vintage Bianchi bikes and verify their authenticity
  • Special Series: Limited edition paint finishes and complete bike builds to commemorate the brand’s history
  • Boutique: A new semi- and full-customization division to help Bianchi buyers build one-of-a-kind bikes, starting with paint but also planning to expand to include “made-to-measure bicycles”, too!
  • Reparto Corse: Already their factory team designation, RC will be updated to include more racing off-shoot bikes & components, plus new bike labeling to commemorate the brand’s racing history
Bianchi Pantani Replica Specialissima RC limited edition

The first in the special series will be this Pantani Replica Specialissima RC – a celebration of Marco Pantani’s 1998 Giro d’Italia & Tour de France double grand tour wins while riding for Mercatone Uno–Bianchi. The limited edition bike will be built up with the new wireless Super Record 13 groupset and Bora Ultra WTC wheels. Just 101 will be made, a reference to Pantani’s ’98 Giro race number.

This one is already available to pre-order through your local dealer for autumn 2025 delivery.

First up in the Boutique lineup were 6 new paint finishes, highlighting their capabilities that combine both in-house special painting and collaboration with local Italian painting specialists. They included Moon Landing White with a subtle mottled texture, marbled Canova white with gold leaf logos, Miami Drip pink & Blue Marine Drip with dipped swirls, color-chaining Chameleon Green with scales, and deep green chrome Chromo Celeste.

Treviglio, Italy flagship store, café & brand museum

Beyond the bikes, Bianchi is developing their HQ into a new flagship destination, starting from the end of this year. Their current showroom will become a flagship bike shop retail store, selling their full range of bikes and all their co-branded items like their new clothing that is manufactured just up the road by Santini in Bergamo.

Bianchi also plans to add a café to keep their fans fueled with espresso as they shop. And Bianchi has plans for an expanded brand museum to include bikes, motorcycles, and much more from their 140 years, opening the museum up into the factory floor so visitors can also get a glimpse of their newest bikes being built up at the same time.

Bianchi ebikes too

Bianchi e-Vertic FX Trail full-suspension eMTB

Bianchi’s only recent MTB introductions have been ebikes, like the e-Vertic FX Trail fully & T-Tronik X hardtails, and they intend to put plenty more effort into the rapidly growing eMTB segment. But also to work on ebikes for urban e-mobility. Without really going too deep into it, they teased an all-new step-through city ebike that they were very excited about for next year.

And lastly, another far-away a tease…

Is this the 2027 Bianchi Oltre RC aero road bike?

2027 Bianchi Oltre RC aero road bike teaser

This one is more speculative because Bianchi didn’t really share any real details. But they started their brand resurrection story by talking a big game about reasserting dominance in professional road racing and establishing a new top-level race team. Then, proceeded to talk about a lot of non-racing bikes and ebikes. But they did share a glimpse of a new road racing bike that will officially launch in 2027. And they said we should expect to find it racing in the pro peloton next year, confirming that Bianchi will return to the WorldTour stage in 2026 on Reparto Corse division bikes.

Our guess is that this is a new Oltre RC, Bianchi’s top-tier carbon aero road bike. We’ll keep our eyes peeled.
