PROTECT YOUR DNA WITH QUANTUM TECHNOLOGY
Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayGrippy nubbins are how Prologo managed to make their wild aero carbon Predator 01TT CPC saddle even more expensive, so Jonas Vingegaard could more easily maintain his aerodynamic tuck in today’s Stage 5 individual time trial at the 2025 Tour de France. Yes, this is probably once again the most expensive off-the-shelf saddle you can put on a bike, and the lightest in its TT category. But no, it won’t fit directly on your bike since it has a unique rail-less carbon plate structure, although thankfully Prologo does supply it with a special clamp that might fit your TT bike…
Prologo Predator 01TT CPC ultralight aero time trial saddle

It was only back in May when Prologo debuted their unique 1250€ Predator TT saddle, promising unmatched aerodynamics and class-leading light weight. And now they are already back with a new version for Team Visma – Lease a Bike, Jonas Vingegaard, Wout Van Aert, and their teammates to race at the Tour de France.
An ultra-premium time trial saddle that weighs ten grams more and costs an extra hundred euros than its already extreme predecessor. But what it does better now, is hold the time trial racer perched on the saddle’s nose, deep in their aero tuck for extra speed.
It’s the grippers that make the Prologo Predator 01TT CPC saddle special

The secret of course, is Prologo’s patented CPC – Connect Power Control – nanostructure gripper tube clusters on top of the saddle. Anyone who has ridden a Prologo CPC saddle can attest to how well they help hold the rider in place, while managing not to shred your skinsuit or bib shorts like homemade solutions like grip tape glued to your saddle.
They also provide slightly improved airflow under your butt to help keep you marginally cooler, and dampen vibrations to help reduce rider fatigue.
Tech details

- CPC 3D hollow conical polymer nanostructure for vibration damping & secure grip on the saddle
- unique no-rails, replaceable carbon plate construction
- required a proprietary clamp, included with the saddle to fit “a selected range of time trial seatposts”
- optimized carbon shell, side wings & tail cowl for decreased aerodynamic drag
- EVA padding
- 260x110mm overall dimensions
- 170mm seating area with a 50mm wide split nose and central PAS pressure relief cutout
- 145g claimed weight, with a 50mm narrow nose
Prologo Predator 01TT CPC – Pricing, options & availability

Prologo’s first Predator 01TT time trial saddle is still available only as a pre-order for 1250€ in its 50mm nose width, with deliveries expected to go out at the end of this month. Prologo says the Predator 01TT CPC with the added grippy dots is officially available as of today for 1350€ direct from their website, again with the 50mm nose. Although it wasn’t there when we checked this morning. They also say you’ll be able to get one from “select Prologo retailers” soon as well.
No explicit mention if the wider 60mm wide nose version of the original will also be available with CPC grippers.

In the meantime, let’s see how the Visma – Lease-a-Bike crew do, sitting on the nose of the new Predator later today…
