Michael Sweetney passed away on Wednesday at the age of 43 years old. No cause of death was given.

Sweetney played for four seasons in the NBA with the Bulls and Knicks.

The Knicks selected Sweetney with the No. 9 pick in the 2003 draft.

Sweetney averaged 6.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in 233 NBA games.

Sweetney currently ranks fifth in rebounds, seventh in blocks, and ninth in points in Georgetown history.
