Anamaria Goltes, Luka Doncic's ex-fiancee, has withdrawn a petition she filed in the Superior Court of Los Angeles in March seeking child support and attorney fees from the Los Angeles Lakers star, sources told ESPN. The petition had a pending court date scheduled for Aug. 14 and required Goltes to submit a responsive filing by Monday.

Goltes addressed the withdrawal in her responsive plea, first obtained by TMZ.

"I am withdrawing my petition for child support with the specific intention of resolving this matter amicably and by a mutual agreement which is in the best interests of our children," said Goltes.

Goltes is the mother of Doncic's two daughters, 2-year-old Gabriela and 7-month-old Olivia, and resides with the children in Slovenia despite filing the petition in California. A request for comment from Goltes' attorney, Evan Itzkowitz, was not immediately returned.

Doncic separately filed an interim injunction with Slovenian courts in February seeking immediate contact with his daughters, along with addressing joint custody and child support, according to sources familiar with the situation. Sources told ESPN on Monday that the custody matter remains ongoing under the jurisdiction of Slovenian courts.

Doncic, 27, announced in May following the Lakers' playoff elimination that he planned to spend the summer in Slovenia with his daughters and would forgo competing with Slovenia's national team in FIBA World Cup European qualifying.

"I love my daughters more than anything, and they will always come first in my life," Doncic wrote on social media after the Lakers' second-round sweep by the Oklahoma City Thunder. "As I continue working toward joint custody of my daughters, I have been forced to make a difficult decision between traveling and playing for the Slovenian national team and being with my daughters this summer."

To make use of his extended time in Slovenia ahead of the coming NBA season, Doncic is hosting the entire Lakers roster in Ljubljana for a four-day minicamp from Aug. 20 to Aug. 24, a source close to the team told ESPN last week.
