The Los Angeles Lakers made a set of moves as they continue to set up their rosters for training camp and the G League season. The Lakers waived Anton Watson, who they had signed to an Exhibit 10 contract. Los Angeles then signed guards Meechie Johnson and Chase Ross to Exhibit 10 contract.

Johnson went undrafted out of South Carolina at the 2026 NBA Draft. The 6-foot-2 guard averaged 17.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists as a super senior for the Gamecocks.

Ross also went undrafted at the 2026 NBA Draft out of Marquette. The 6-foot-5 guard averaged 14.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.2 steals per game as a senior for the Golden Eagles.

Watson, Johnson and Ross are all expected to join the Coachella Valley Lakers for the upcoming G League season.
