Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayKeyshawn Davis believes Nahir Albright mentally “breaks” during fights and says he plans to stop him when they meet again on Saturday night in Norfolk.
The two previously fought in 2023, with Davis originally winning a majority decision before the result was later changed to a no contest following a positive marijuana test. Their first fight was competitive in spots, with Albright having success with hand speed and combinations during several rounds. Albright also briefly staggered Davis late in the fight.
During today’s final press conference, Davis questioned Albright’s mentality and said he expects to wear him down during the fight.
“He just got a lot of will to win, but he one of those fighters to where like he breaking there, bro. He breaking there. When he really feel like he can’t do something with somebody, he actually breaks in there,” said Keyshawn at the press conference.
“His coach and the ones on the outside, his family be the one to hype him up to keep him locked in in the fight.
“This his first main event fight right here. He wants to get seen again. So, he’s going to have a lot of will again, but once his will get broken, he just becomes somebody in the ring with me.
“That’s what I’m going to do. I’mma break his will.
“Whatever he come there trying to do, whether he fighting me, whether he trying to box me, whether he trying to sit in the middle of the ring, whatever it is he’s trying to do, I’mma break his will, and I’mma get him up out of there.
“I think it’s going to be easier, honestly, because I’m mentally focused and physically better than what I was before.
“When you get a focused Keyshawn, man, you see what happens. I stop guys.”
Davis also predicted a knockout victory earlier in the interview and said he believes he is a completely different fighter compared to the one Albright faced three years ago.
