Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors are nearing agreement on a contract extension following his trade from the Los Angeles Clippers this week.

Leonard and the Raptors have long been expected to sign an extension this offseason.

Leonard can sign for up to $126 million over two seasons in addition to his $50.3 million salary for the 2026-27 season.

During the 2025-26 season, Leonard averaged 27.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.9 steals. Leonard was an All-NBA selection for the seventh time in his career.
