Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayJermall Charlo will return to the ring on July 25 after being added to the undercard of the Errol Spence Jr. vs. Tim Tszyu event in Australia.
Australian broadcaster Main Event announced Charlo’s inclusion this week and asked fans who they would like to see the former world champion face. No opponent has been announced.
The bigger question may not be who Charlo fights, but how active he can remain.
Despite carrying an unbeaten record and winning world titles in two divisions, Charlo has rarely been seen in the ring during the last several years. The 36-year-old has fought only three times since 2020 and has made just one appearance during the past three years.

His most recent outing came in May 2025 when he stopped Thomas Lamanna in six rounds. The victory was expected, but it did little to answer larger questions about where Charlo stands among the top names in the sport after so much inactivity.
There was a time when Charlo appeared headed toward some of boxing’s biggest fights at middleweight and super middleweight. Long layoffs changed that conversation, leaving him on the outside while other contenders and champions moved ahead.
The July appearance gives Charlo another opportunity to stay active and begin putting together the kind of schedule that has been missing from his career. A second consecutive win would not erase years of inactivity, but it would at least move him closer to becoming a factor again.
Main Event’s announcement did not identify a potential opponent, though the promotional material suggested the possibility of Charlo facing an Australian fighter on the card.
