Orgo-Life the new way to the future

Former No. 2 overall pick James Wiseman has decided to continue his basketball career in Europe, with his agent, Misko Raznatovic, announcing that the search for a new club is officially underway.

The move marks a new chapter for Wiseman, whose NBA career never developed as expected after the Warriors selected him in the 2020 NBA Draft.

Injuries repeatedly interrupted his progress, beginning with a torn meniscus during his rookie season that caused him to miss an entire championship campaign.

Wiseman later spent time with the Pistons and Pacers, showing flashes of his potential but struggling to establish consistency.

His most recent setback came when he suffered a torn Achilles on opening night with Indiana, leading to a series of short-term contracts before he eventually became a free agent.

The 25-year-old appeared in 155 NBA games and recently played for Team USA during the FIBA World Cup 2027 qualifiers, using the tournament to demonstrate that he has recovered from his injuries.

By moving overseas, Wiseman hopes to earn consistent playing time and continue his development in a stable environment, with several European clubs expected to have interest in signing the talented 7-footer.

The report also noted that veteran forward Maxi Kleber, currently an unrestricted NBA free agent, is evaluating his future and could also consider returning to Europe for the 2026-27 season.
