Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayPaul said he spoke directly with Canelo and wants to revive talks for a superfight
Jake Paul says he has a $200 million offer ready for a fight against Canelo Alvarez after speaking directly with the Mexican star. Paul claimed Canelo sounded interested in revisiting the matchup following their failed negotiations in 2025.
Paul posted a video on social media in which he said he recently spoke to Canelo directly and urged him to sign for what he described as the biggest fight boxing could make.
“Canelo, I have the $200 million for you, easy money. Jake vs. Canelo, let’s get it done. This is what the fans have been waiting for. This is the biggest fight that could possibly be made in boxing,” said Jake Paul.
Paul also claimed the four-division world champion sounded interested during the conversation.
“Canelo said he’s down on the phone. So, we’re going to make it happen. I have the $200 million. I think that’s going to be the next fight. Sign the contract, Canelo. Much respect to you. Lets make the biggest fight in boxing happen,” said Paul.
There is no clear indication where a $200 million guarantee for Canelo would come from. Most mega-fights are financed through site fees, sponsorships, streaming rights, and pay-per-view revenue rather than one promoter paying the full amount directly.
Paul and Canelo were linked to talks before their negotiations collapsed in early 2025. The matchup eventually faded after Canelo moved toward the Saudi-backed promotion.
Canelo is also expected to return in September against Christian Mbilli, making the timing of a Jake Paul event difficult unless major plans suddenly change.
Even so, Paul understands how boxing promotion works in 2026. Mentioning Canelo’s name instantly creates headlines and debate, even if the fight never gets close to reality.
