Jace Kessler suffered a broken left collarbone at the High Point National and after surgery on Wednesday, he drove to and lined up for the Southwick National on Saturday. Racing just four days removed from surgery was not going to be easy, but after two big surgeries (shoulder injury in November then a broken arm after he started riding again) he is trying to make up for all of the time he lost this year. “It wasn’t pretty by any means, but I just want to get the time in,” he said.

“It’s been a really tough year with injuries, something I haven’t dealt with in the past,” he added. The Michigan native will lineup at RedBud MX Saturday for his home race. Check out the full post-race interview.
