The amateur motocross community suffered a devastating loss this past weekend on Saturday, June 28, and the entire MX Sports racing family is extremely saddened by the loss of Aidan Zingg, age 16, from Hemet, California.

Recently, Aidan had qualified for his seventh-straight year to compete in the most prestigious amateur motocross event in the world, the AMA Amateur Motocross National Championship, held at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. Aidan first competed at The Ranch in 2019, and every year since then. In 2024 Aidan earned his first-ever AMA National Championship in the Supermini 2 (13-16) class and earned second in the Supermini 1 (12-15) class.

Aidan, who has been known for his determination and outstanding talent, had just signed a Team Green Kawasaki for the 2025 racing season and was set to make a major impact as he made the move to the “B” classes and Schoolboy 2 class at Loretta’s.

Details for his services will be announced later. There is no doubt that there will be an out-pouring of love and support from the entire motocross community for our brethren racer and friend. MX Sports and the American Motorcyclist Association send their sincere condolences to the family.

Godspeed, Aidan
