Glenn Coldenhoff delivered a strong performance to win the first moto of the Grand Prix of England. Coldenhoff took the lead early in the race and managed to hold onto it despite pressure from Lucas Coenen and later Jeffrey Herlings. Herlings pushed hard in the final stages but suffered a crash and ended up fourth. Coenen eventually secured second place, ahead of Romain Febvre in third.
Calvin Vlaanderen finished sixth, while Brian Bogers took a solid eighth place. Brent van Doninck also made it into the top ten with a tenth-place finish. Roan van de Moosdijk ended the moto in fifteenth. Unfortunately, Jago Geerts had a crash and sustained an injury.
