Francisco Garcia will not line up for this weekend’s EMX250 round at the MXGP of Belgium in Lommel. The BUD Racing Kawasaki rider suffered a minor crash during a training session earlier this week.

With Garcia holding a lead of more than 100 points in the EMX250 Championship, both the rider and the team have decided not to take any unnecessary risks. He will be given time to make a full recovery and is expected to return for the next round in Sweden.

Despite missing the Lommel event, Garcia remains comfortably in the lead of the battle for the EMX250 European Championship title.
