Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwaySacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis has been ruled out for the opening week of the NBA season after being diagnosed with a Grade 1 hamstring strain. The injury occurred during the preseason.
As a result, the Kings will be without their starting big man for their early matchups, including their road game against the Phoenix Suns and their home game versus the Utah Jazz.
The player will be re-evaluated in one week to determine whether he can return to action shortly after.
This development adds to Sacramento’s early challenges, as the team is now set to begin the season without two of its starters.
Sabonis joins Keegan Murray on the injury list – Murray is currently sidelined due to a torn ligament in his left thumb and is expected to miss the first few weeks of the season.
