Dani Heitink of the MJC Yamaha team rode an excellent second moto in the 125cc World Championship in France. He crossed the finish line in second place but was informed after the race that he had been disqualified. Heitink entered the starting area from outside the track, which is not allowed according to the regulations. Without this incident, Heitink would have secured an impressive third place in the overall standings for the day.
