The Los Angeles Clippers have signed guard Hunter Sallis to a training camp deal, according to HoopsHype.

Sallis joins the Clippers after spending his rookie season between the Philadelphia 76ers and the G League in 2025-26. The 23-year-old appeared in seven NBA games for Philadelphia, averaging 1.0 point and 0.6 assists in 3.7 minutes per game while shooting 60.0% from the field.

His most significant experience last season came in the G League, where Sallis played 36 games and averaged 13.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 29.1 minutes per game.

Sallis spent most of the season with the San Diego Clippers, making his latest move particularly relevant as he now joins the parent organization. In 28 games with San Diego, he averaged 14.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists while shooting 49.3% from the field and 36.3% from three-point range.

He also appeared in eight games for the Delaware Blue Coats, averaging 12.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists. However, his shooting efficiency was lower in that stint, including a 19.4% mark from three-point range.

Sallis’ development in the G League gives the Clippers another young guard to evaluate during training camp. Los Angeles already has significant competition in its backcourt after reshaping the roster around Darius Garland and 2026 No. 5 pick Keaton Wagler.

The Clippers went 42-40 last season and missed the playoffs before undergoing major changes during the offseason. The team traded Kawhi Leonard to the Toronto Raptors and received Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick and future draft compensation, while also adding players such as Rui Hachimura and Max Strus.

The Clippers also retained several young players, including Jordan Miller and Kobe Sanders.
