Ben Simmons signed a one-year, $3.5 million contract with the Sacramento Kings last week that is non-guaranteed, sources tell Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

Simmons will earn $1 million if he makes the Kings' opening night roster in October.

Simmons last played in the NBA during the 2024-25 season. He started that season with the Brooklyn Nets before joining the LA Clippers after a contract buyout. The 6-foot-10 guard/forward averaged 5.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 5.6 assists in 51 total games between the Nets and Clippers.
