Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayAnother rough ending to the day of Pro Motocross for Jason Anderson, who entered the season after a health issue ended his Monster Energy AMA Supercross campaign. He said he would like to keep the situation private. Despite admitting he wasn't very well prepared for the motocross season, the early part of the summer wasn't too bad, with seventh and eighth place finishes overall, respectively, at the opening rounds. Thunder Valley was rough but Anderson has dealt with issues at elevation before, and he recovered with 7-7 finishes for seventh overall at High Point.
It's been tough since. At Southwick Anderson said he was getting sick in the motos and failed to finish each time. At RedBud he bounced back in the first moto to take tenth. In moto two, he again felt ill and was unable to finish.
"I didn’t have my best performance today," said Anderson in a Kawasaki statement. "I qualified 14th overall, which is a bit slower than usual for me. I was more focused on the day ahead. Moto 1, I started around eighth and tried to battle with the guys around me, but ended up getting 10th. Moto 2, I had to pull off early because I wasn’t feeling 100%. I’m still having some issues with my health. I need to check on that and see how everything is, and we’ll go from there."
