Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayAmazon released details of its Prime Video NBA broadcasting schedule ahead of Thursday's complete regular-season announcement, featuring Friday night doubleheaders and extensive Emirates NBA Cup coverage.
The streaming platform will launch NBA coverage with an October 24 doubleheader during opening week. The Boston Celtics visit the New York Knicks at 7:30 p.m. ET, followed by the Los Angeles Lakers hosting Minnesota Timberwolves at 10 p.m. ET.
Both games represent playoff rematches from the 2025 postseason. Prime Video will maintain Friday night doubleheaders throughout the regular season as part of its NBA programming strategy.
Amazon secured extensive rights to the Emirates NBA Cup tournament beginning October 31. The platform will stream five consecutive Friday night doubleheaders during Group Play games leading into knockout rounds.
Prime Video's tournament coverage includes Quarterfinals on December 9-10, Semifinals on December 13, and the Championship on December 16. The Group Play schedule concludes with a Black Friday doubleheader on November 28.
The Black Friday games feature defending champion Milwaukee Bucks visiting the Knicks at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Lakers host Dallas Mavericks at 10 p.m. ET in the teams' first meeting of the season.
