After watching Thompson during his time in Dallas, Harrington believes the veteran guard has declined considerably and questioned whether he could provide the type of impact Miami would need.
“I’m a what have you done for me lately kind of guy. With that being said with Klay, watching him the last two years here in Dallas, it seems like he’s fell off a lot. Significantly. I watched him miss a lot of open shots, which he never done.
“He didn’t recover from his injury. He almost has a peg leg. I don’t know how much they can get from him at this point… I just don’t think he has it to significantly help Miami in ways they would need him.”
