The second round of the 2026 SuperMotocross Playoffs delivered a much different day of racing in Los Angeles, as dry conditions at Dignity Health Sports Park allowed the riders to attack the track after the mud-filled opener in Columbus. In the 250 class, Julien Beaumer put together a strong 1-3 performance to claim the overall victory after leading every lap of the opening moto. Ryder DiFrancesco remained consistent with 2-5 scores for second overall, while points leader Levi Kitchen rebounded from seventh in moto one to win the second moto and finish third overall. Cole Davies showed plenty of speed early but crashed hard in moto two and was unable to finish. In the 450 class, Jorge Prado used consistency to his advantage, going 2-2 to take the overall victory and strengthen his position in the championship. Hunter Lawrence bounced back in a big way with 4-1 scores for second overall, while Ken Roczen won the opening moto and finished third overall with 1-4 scores. Haiden Deegan went 3-3 for fourth overall after challenging near the front throughout the night. With double points awarded in Los Angeles, Playoff 2 created major movement in both championships as the series now heads to Missouri for the 2026 SMX World Championship Final.
